He has taken part in numerous festivals, such as Schleswig- Holstein, Verbier (together with Martha Argerich, Misha Maisky and Barbara Hendricks), Toulouse (in a Beethoven Cycle with Alicia de Larrocha and Maria- João Pires), La Roque d’Anteron, Colmar, Montpellier and the Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Piano Festival in Bergamo and Brescia. He dedicates much of his time to chamber music, especially as part of a duo with his sister, Karin Lechner. He has accompanied Mischa Maisky and Martha Argerich on tour and has made several recordings for JCV.
